stockPARIS: European stocks opened higher on Monday, following gains across Asia and a strong close on Wall Street last week.

Frankfurt's DAX rose by 1.74 percent to 5,634.06 points at the open, while Paris' CAC 40 climbed 1.73 percent to 3,141.19 points.

Trading was closed Monday in London for a bank holiday.
