HONG KONG: Hong Kong shares jumped 1.55 percent in morning trade on Thursday following a third straight rally on Wall Street and on hopes for a fresh round of monetary easing by the US Federal Reserve.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 300.83 points to 19,767.62 on turnover of HK$33.28 billion ($4.27 billion).
