asma_jahangir2ISLAMABAD: President Supreme Court Bar Association Asma Jahangir has opposed calling out army in Karachi to control the situation.

 

Talking to a private news channel, she stressed upon all political parties to sit together to sort out the solution of Karachi issue and distance themselves from criminal gangs.

The government must launch indiscriminate operation against criminal elements, while giving free hand to law enforcing agencies against these elements, she added.

She said calling out the army in Karachi is not the solution of the issue.

She said lawyers community is also becoming victim of target killings and they are feeling dread and fear.

She said lawyers from across the country will support the call of lawyers' community of Karachi against target killings.
