iokISLAMABAD: In Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK), Indian troops, in their fresh acts of state terrorism, martyred three more Kashmiri youth at different places.

During military operations, the troops killed two youth in Lachipora and Dardhaji areas of Handwara and one at Gurez in Bandipore. The killing at Gurez raised the number of martyred youth to 13 since Saturday besides killing of an Indian army officer in the area, KMS reported.

On Monday, a 40-year-old woman, Saleema, was killed while another civilian sustained injuries during a clash between Mujahideen and Indian troops in Hafruda area of Handwara. The police said that the lady got killed during the cross fire whereas the family members claimed that she was killed due to the indiscriminate firing by the troops.

On the other hand, a Special Police Officer (SPO) was injured after he was shot at from close range by unknown gunmen in Sopore town.

Residents of Mispora village of Pulwama took to streets to protest against the thrashing of locals by the police. The agitating people blocked Shopian-Pulwama road for many hours. The locals told media men that the police personnel entered the village and beat up many civilians.

Meanwhile, 28 shops were gutted in a devastating fire at Sogam in Kupwara. One person was injured during the incident.
