AIOU extends admission date till Sep 10
ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has extended its admissions date with late fee charges from Matric to MA/M.Sc level programmes for the Semester Autumn, 2011 till September 10.
Director Admissions, AIOU Syed Zia-ul-Hasnain Naqvi said that admission forms and prospectuses can be obtained from the sale points in the main campus of University as well as from its 36 Regional Campuses all over the country.
The admissions of M.Sc are being offered in Economic, Pakistan Studies, Gender and Women Studies, M.Com (Accounting and Finance) while the admissions of MBA are being offered with four specializations (HRM, Marketing Management, IT Management, Banking and Finance).
The admissions of Commonwealth (COL) MBA/MPA, MA in Arabic, Islamic Studies and Urdu are being offered.
In Bachelor Programmes, BS (Computer Science) which is only offering in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Lahore, Bachelor of art in Library and Information Sciences, Bachelor of Commerce, BA, B.Com. Associate Degree in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) and (Banking and Finance), FA, I.Com, F.Sc (Pre-Engineering), F.Sc (Pre-Medical), Matric, CT, Dars-i-Nizami, Certificate Courses (duration 6 months), Agricultural Courses (duration 6 months), Open Tech Courses and Short Term Educational Programme are also being offered.
Director admissions said that results of the final exams of Matric,FA/BA/PTC/CT and B.Ed. programmes for the Semester Autumn, 2010 have been declared and results cards have also been sent to the students by post at their given addresses while the results of Postgraduate programmes would be declared shortly.
He said result awaited students of the university can also apply for admissions in next programme.
