LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 116.31 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5875.90 points and closed at 5992.21 points.
The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 4.080 million shares to close against previous turnover of 951,700 shares, showing an upward move of 3.128 million shares. While, out of the total 85 active scrips 27 moved up, 9 shed values and 49 remained equal.
The top three Major Gainers of the day were Engro Foods Limited, Maple Leaf Cement Factory and Mughal Iron and Steel Industries Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 7.21, Rs 3.11 and Rs 2.68 respectively.
Treet Corporation Limited, Southern Electric Power and Adamjee Insurance Company lost their per share value by Re 0.52, Re 0.37 and Re 0.35 respectively.
Top three Volume Leaders of the day included SME Leasing Limited with 2.200 million shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 471,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 351,500 shares.
