DIAMER: Central leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Imran Nadeem said on Saturday that government of PPP has started several relief programmes for welfare of people of the area.
He told APP that the government had helped the people of area through Benazir Income Support programme (BISP), Watan cards programme increase in salary of police force, established a passport office and KIU campus at Skardu.
Thousands of poor families of the region are getting benefits through these programmes, he added.
