Gilani for building stronger ties with Oman
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday stressed the need of building stronger economic and political ties with Oman for the mutual benefit of their people.
The prime minister said Pakistan and Oman were two brotherly countries with close friendly ties and Pakistan was proud of the friendship with Oman.
Talking to the Ambassador of Oman, Mohammed bin said bin Mohammed Al Lawati, who called on him here at the PM House, Gilani conveyed his greetings to Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al-Said and warmly recalled his visit to Oman last year, where he was received with exceptional hospitality and sincerity.
The Ambassador underscored the importance Oman attaches to its relations with Pakistan. He assured the Prime Minister of his country's continued support to various projects being pursued by Pakistan.
