NEW YORK: US 30-year Treasury bonds rose a point in price on Tuesday as weak economic growth figures in Germany fanned fears over a global growth slowdown and as investors waited data that is expected to show US housing starts fell.
The bond yields dipped to 3.74 percent from 3.77 percent late on Monday.
