hinaISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar is leaving for Ankara for an official visit on the invitation of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu from August 11-13, 2011, says a press release received here on Wednesday.

Foreign Minister’s visit to Turkey as one of her first visits abroad as Foreign Minister is reflective of the close brotherly and cooperative relations between Pakistan and Turkey.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister will hold bilateral consultations with Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

The two Ministers will discuss bilateral matters, issues of regional connectivity as well as the regional and global situation.

The Foreign Minister will also call on President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoga.
