BEIJING: China's central bank on Monday said that it will maintain a prudent monetary policy and that price pressures would be in danger of escalating if it relaxed its policy.
In a statement published on its website, the People's Bank of China said domestic inflation expectations remained strong and that fighting price pressures was still a policy priority.
