PPP’s Sardar Yaqoob elected as AJK President

sardar_yaqoobMUZAFFARABAD: Sardar Yaqoob of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) has been elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir President.

According to the details, he bagged 40 votes against 11 by PML-N nominee Khan Bahadur.

He has also served as the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir. With election of Sardar Yaqoob as President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the election process in Kashmir has been completed.

Sardar Yaqoob’s victory was certain even before the start of polling.
