Chinese FM congratulates Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar

ISLAMABAD: Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Yang Jiechi congratulated Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on assumption of the office.

In a letter written to Foreign Minister, Hina Rabbani Khar the Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi congratulated her on assuming the charge of first women Foreign Minister of Pakistan on Thursday.

In his letter the Chinese Foreign Minister referred to the close and friendly relationship between Pakistan and China, based on mutual respect, trust and mutual support.

Foreign Minister Yang expressed desire to work together with Foreign Minister Hina Khar, to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
