Haidri calls upon PML-N to accept his appointment
ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri on Tuesday said that Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Leader Ishaq Dar should accept his appointment to avoid rise of differences in the ranks of the opposition.
Addressing a press conference in his chamber in Parliament House, Maulana Haidri said that after MQM `s support of JUI (F) the situation had turned in JUI (F)'s favour, with the support of 25 members.
He said it is time "we get united as the country is facing many challenges, adding there is a need for building of solidarity.
He said "we should work together for the country's progress and prosperity".
Haidari while speaking about the proposal of forming grand alliance of the opposition, he said that some parties have not liked the stand adopted by PML-N and it was needed to be clarified.
He said he plans to hold All Parties Conference as it has now become necessary to discuss issues being confronted by the country.
