syed-qaim-ali-shahKARACHI: Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, telephoned Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad Khan in Dubai and congratulated him on resuming the office of the Sindh Governor.

In a statement here on Monday, he hailed the decision of the Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in this regard under which he was asked to return home and resume the charge of Governor Sindh.

Qaim Ali Shah congratulated Dr. Ishrat-ul- Ebad Khan and said that resuming the office of Governor was a positive and judicious step.

He said that Dr. Ishrat had played a positive role as Governor in the past as well and he would continue this role for fostering cohesion and harmony in the province.
