Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari is all set to play the younger version of Rekha in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’.
The story of the film centers on a young Kashmiri boy Noor played by Aditya Roy Kapoor, his muse Firdaus played by Katrina Kaif. Rekha will be seen playing the role of Miss Havisham and the younger Miss Havisham will be played by Aditi Rao Hyderi. Apparently, Ajay Devgan will be also seen doing a cameo in the film.
Director Abhishek Kapoor is very excited about the project and revealed, “‘Fitoor’ is a story of grand passion, beauty and love. The entire team is charged about what it promises to be. We’re inspired to go all-out and give it our best”, media reported.
‘Fitoor’ is an adaptation of ‘Charles Dickens' novel ‘Great Expectations’. The first schedule of the movie was supposed to start in Kashmir, but due to the floods, it will now begin in Mumbai later this month and further parts of the movie will be shot in Delhi and London.
‘Fitoor’ stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Rekha, Ajay Devgan and Aditi Rao Hydari. Movie directed by Abhishek Kapoor has been planned to release sometime next year.
