Govt wants dialogue with MQM to resolve political differences: Malik
KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that the Government still intends to enter into a dialogue with MQM to resolve political differences.
"PPP will continue its policy of reconciliation with all parties without any discrimination", Rehman Malik said here on Monday while talking to APP at National Disaster Management Cell(NDMC).
He said the Government is fully committed to restore peace in Karachi and would also appreciate cooperation of civil society.
The Interior Minister also urged the political workers of PPP, MQM and ANP to avoid blame game which could be detrimental to the peace of the city.
The Interior Ministry has formed a joint investigation team which will investigate all the facts related to the disconnection of phone lines of MQM Headquarters.
" I appreciate the role of related departments which provided all the facts in this regard at a very short notice", he added.
