ISLAMABAD: The United States Embassy is deeply concerned about the escalating violence and instability in Karachi.
Cameron Munter US Ambassador to Pakistan said, "We call on all parties to refrain from further violence and work toward a peaceful resolution of differences."
The loss of over 60 lives, including women and children, in the last three days is a tragedy.
The US ambassador ssued a statement saying that the embassy was "deeply concerned about the escalating violence".
"We call on all parties to refrain from further violence and work toward a peaceful resolution of differences," he said.
We extend condolences to the families and friends of the innocent victims, says a press release issued here on Friday.
