Hong Kong marketHONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks rose 0.66 percent in the morning session with traders expecting the latest interest rate hike by Beijing to spell the end of a cycle of rises aimed at curbing inflation.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 148.59 points to 22,666.14 on turnover of HK$32.30 billion ($4.15 billion).
