PML-N, MQM to work together as opposition on important issues
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League PML-N and Muttahida Qaumi Movement MQM Wednesday agreed to work together as opposition on important national issues in the Senate, National and Provincial Assemblies.
Both parties agreed to work together after first formal meeting between their leaders in Islamabad.
PML-N side included Senator Ishaq Dar, MNA Khawaja Saad Rafique, Senators Mushahidullah & Pervez Rashid.
MQM delegation comprised member of its Rabita Committee and MPA Raza Haroon, MNAs Haider Abbas Rizvi & Waseem Akhtar.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Haider Abbas Rizvi reading a joint statement of PML-N & MQM said that both parties will work together on important national issues including price hike, inflation, load shedding, law and order, corruption.
