MCP close down illegal cattle market

PESHAWAR: The Municipal Corporation Peshawar on Friday continued operation against encroachment in different parts of the City and closed down an illegal cattle market in congested Gunj bazaar in interior City.

According to Spokesman of MCP, the cleanup operation against encroachment that was conducted under the directives of MCP administrator Rashid Ahmed Khan and removed an illegal built extension in front of shops at Gunj bazaar after receiving peoples' complaints regarding its hurdle in smooth flow of traffic. An illegal cattle market was also closed down.
