KARACHI: The Anti-Encroachments Task Force (AETF), of Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC), took action in compliance with the directive of the Supreme Court, in Surjani Town and recovered 310 acres land of AVQ Trust from the occupation of land mafia.
The action was supervised by Chairman AETF, Senior Director Bilal Manzar, said a statement on Tuesday.
Director Anti-Encroachments Mazhar Khan, Additional Director Muhammad Shakir, Project Director Surjani Muhammad Israr, Deputy Director Wajid Ali, Deputy Director Salman, Deputy Director Kamran Abbas and Focal Person Nasim-ul-Ghani were also present on this occasion.
The AETF demolished all concrete houses, shops and other structures in the area and handed over the recovered land to the Project Director Surjani Town.
