WARSAW: Polish 10-year bond yields have risen 15 basis points to a 5-month high on Friday pushed higher by foreign investors' sales, local dealers said.
The rise in yields comes after the finance ministry postponed the release of its bond supply plan for February amid market turbulence.
"London-based banks are selling aggresively," said a Warsaw-based trader. He added the sales were likely connected with the transfer of bonds from privately-managed pension funds to the state on Monday next week.
