LONDON: German bonds extended gains on Friday after US data showed pending home sales fell far more than expected in April.
The June Bund future was 17 ticks higer on the day at 125.66 in a choppy trading session.
US figures dealt a blow to hopes of a recovery in the housing market, helping US Treasuries to retrace losses, but other data showed consumer sentiment improving in May in the world's largest economy.
