Colombia bus crash kills 13: police

colombiaBOGOTA: At least 13 people were killed and six left injured Thursday after their bus crashed into a truck on a highway in Colombia's northern Cesar department, officials said.

The accident at around 5:00 pm (2200 GMT) occurred when the bus driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, police told AFP, without providing further details.

The six injured passengers were transported to the nearby towns of Bosconia and Ariguani.
