QUETTA: Leaders of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Nazriati (JUI-N) has appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to ensure establishment of a permanent bench of Supreme Court in the provincial capital Quetta.
According to a press release issued by JUI-N on Thursday, the JUI-N leaders including Maulana Abdul Qadir Loni, Haji Syed Abdul Sattar Shah and Maulana Mehmoodul Hasan Qasmi appealed to the CJP that keeping in view miseries of people of Balochistan, a permanent bench of Supreme Court be established in Quetta.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry is aware of grievances of downtrodden segments of society, problems of common people and backwardness of province of Balochistan, they said adding that they had pinned hope on the CJP that he would ensure establishment of permanent bench of Supreme Court in Quetta.
