KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) bench mark-100 index gained 62.26 points to close at 21110 while KSE-30 index closed 14.82 points higher to close at 16346 on Tuesday.
Out of total 338 active scrips, 109 moved up while 128 shed value and 20 remained unchanged.
Significant increase of Rs 16 was recorded in the stocks of Atlas Battery Ltd to close at Rs 338 while the stocks of Colgate Palmolive increased by Rs 15 to close at Rs 1,750.
Wyeth Pak Ltd and Exide Pakistan lost their per share value by Rs 20 to close at Rs 120 and Rs 18.30 to close at Rs 442.03 respectively.
Most active trading of 18845500 shares was recorded in Fauji Cement.
Total market turnover remained at 211827600 as compared to previous 323161260 shares.
