ISLAMABAD: Minister in Charge for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar said that government is doing needful efforts to end the power loadshedding crisis and assureed this issue would be resolved soon.
The minister while talking to a private news channel said "load-shedding is not to end but we would try to bring its level down with the sufficiently available sources in the country".
He added there could be no alternate plan that might help ease such crisis overnight adding government is doing its best and hopefully this crisis would be resolved any time soon.
According to latest reports the shortfall of the power has reached to 5,000 MW forcing the relevant authorities to resort to load-shedding after every two hours in most parts of the country.
To meet this crisis the government is once again planning to resume two weekly holidays and to advance the clock for one hour.
