KOHAT: The Kohat police foiled a terror bid and seized 204.4 kg of explosive material laden in a pickup and arrested three suspected miscreants here Friday, police informed.
The spokesman of Kohat police told APP that police intercepted a Peshawar bound vehicle bearing registration number PRC 6272 near Kohat Tunnel on a tip-off and during search recovered 204.4 kg explosive material from its secret cavities.
The police apprehended three suspected miscreants red handed and sent them to undisclosed location for further interrogation.
The arrested suspects were identified as Umar Naiz s/o Gul Shahram, Ikram Ullah s/o Akhtar Nawaz and Asmatullah s/o Rehmatullah resident of Jhandi Khel Bannu.
