ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information PPP and former Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the hanging of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is considered as judicial murder by every segment of the society.
Talking to Radio Pakistan on Thursday, he hailed the presidential reference of ZA Bhutto case and said PPP had wanted to get it reviewed since long, but has succeeded to file the reference this time, which is a great initiative.
He said PPP wants to get rewritten the history of Pakistan. He said every segment of the society acknowledges that the judgment in the Bhutto case was biased, that is why, none of the superior or subordinate courts or any lawyer made reference of the verdict in any case.
Former president Supreme Court Bar Association, Ali Ahmad Kurd, has said that the judgment of ZA Bhutto case was never accepted by lawyers as a fair one, rather it was a judicial killing.
