ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court Amendment Bill 2011 has been introduced in the National Assembly on Monday while the National Commission for Human Rights Bill 2010 was referred to the concerned standing committee for further consideration.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Zaheeruddin Babar Awan introduced the bill to amend the Islamabad High Court Act, 2010 (The Islamabad High Court Amendment Bill 2011) in the House.
Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Mian Raza Rabbani moved motion in the House to suspend rules and procedures for consideration and passage of National Commission for Human Rights Bill 2010 as reported by the Standing Committee and refer back it to the concerned Standing Committee for review.
The motion was adopted by the House and Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi referred the bill to the concerned committee.
