Application for consolidating reference, plea on Bhutto case

LAHORE: An application was moved on Saturday in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry for consolidating the reference pertaining to the re-opening of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto case with a pending plea before the court on same matter.

The application was moved by Rana Ilam ud Din Ghazi Advocate submitting that his plea for leave to appeal on re-opening of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto case was pending before the court.

He contended that it was demand of the propriety and convenience that the said plea should be consolidated with reference filed by the president, which would be heard on April 13 by SC, to avoid conflicting judgements on the same subject.

He pleaded the court to consolidate the plea with reference in the interest of justice.
