Two killed, 12 injured in Quetta suicide blast

QUETTA: Two people including a suicide bomber were killed and 12 others sustained injuries in a suicide blast ripped through the house of DIG investigation, Wazir Khan Nasar at Gulistan Road, said CCPO Dawood Jonejo.

Talking to media men at the site of the blast on Thursday, he said a suicide bomber struck the explosive-laden vehicle against the house of the police official located near the Police line in Cantonment area, resulting into the instant death of a police cop and a suicide bomber, while leaving 12 other critically injured.

Entire area has been cordoned off and search operation has been launched to trace out the perpetrators of the heinous crime, he said adding all-out efforts would be made to bring the culprits to the justice.
