ISLAMABAD: The political analysts have stressed on the government, political parties of treasury as well as opposition benches and general public for collective endeavors to confront and defeat terrorism.
According to a private Radio channel, they said terrorism is a national challenge and the government cannot cope with it solely without the cooperation of whole nation.
Analyst Dr. Hasan Askari Rizvi has said that the government, law enforcing agencies and armed forces are making full efforts to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the soil of Pakistan.
He said the killing of innocent people is inhuman and un-Islamic act which will never be supported by any true Muslim. He said police, armed forces and general public gave tremendous sacrifices in security forces operation against terrorists.
Replying to a question, he said Ulema of Pakistan should play their due role in changing the mindset of one segment of society and get them realized that the country need economic progress for which peace is prerequisite.
Dr. Amjad Waheed, an analyst said that the reasons of terrorism and extremism are social instead of religious or economic.
He said "unfortunately we do not develop a collective society. Only educational institutions are not sufficient for the training of a person, rather we have to establish some training institutions for the training of people".
He said the government should set up a national commission for training strategy and institutions. He said religion has great potential for a collective and strong society, but unfortunately we did not use religion for this purpose.
