ISLAMABAD: The Chief Minister of Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) Omar Abdullah has said that issue of Jammu and Kashmir is basically of political nature which needs political solution.
According to Radio Srinagar, he said that civil society should play its role for maintaining peaceful atmosphere in IoK Valley, so that people could earn money from tourism and trade.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over resumption of talks process between India and Pakistan after Mumbai attacks and said that cricket diplomacy would improve relations between the two countries.
He said that 62 years old IoK issue could not be solved within few nights, but Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is serious for maintaining pleasant relations with Pakistan.
He added that best solution of IoK issue is one that acceptable to all circles.
