A stable Pakistan is beneficial for Afghanistan, world: Firdous

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that a stable Pakistan is necessary for a stable Afghanistan and the world.

Talking to BBC Radio, she said "We have rendered great sacrifices in the law enforcement operations against terrorists and made great achievements".

She maintained that there has been a chain of violent incidents throughout the country which claimed a number of lives, adding there are some confirmed and unconfirmed figures about the death toll of the opponents.
