BAGHDAD: Iraq issued a tender on Wednesday for a minimum of 50,000 tonnes of white sugar from any source, according to a published newspaper advertisement.
The tender documents published in the government's Assabah newspaper said bids were due by April 13 and should remain valid until April 18. The tender was issued by the Iraqi Foodstuffs Company, which supplies the government's large public rations programme.
