KARACHI: In order to clear the dues of different newspapers, the Finance Department, Government of Sindh has allowed the further payment against 66 bills amounting to Rs. 43,410,772.

The Finance Department has given permission through a letter to the Accountant General Sindh, vide No.FD(B&A), Acctts/2019-20, dated 18th June, 2020 to pay the said amount against the stated bills which was initially denied by the AG Sindh on account of 15-minute delay in the submission of the same by Information Department, Government of Sindh.

Secretary Information Muhmmad Aslam Ghauri has assigned the task to Director Information Advertisement Zulfiqar Ali Shah to finalize the process by submitting the bills as timely payments may be made by the AG Sindh office to newspapers.
