Mehsood tribe chief killed

WANA: Chief of Dushmankhel tribe, Sardar Amanuddin Mehsood, has been killed in the agency headquarters. The political administration has also confirmed the killing.However, no one has accepted the responsibility of the murder so far.

The deceased was a candidate for NA-42 elections. However, elections could not be held on the constituency due to operation in the constituency. He was kidnapped by unknown armed men two months back and his body was found near Shewkai Narai area of Wana on Monday. According to sources, he was tortured to death. The elders of the Mehsood tribes have taken away their body to his native area.
