DAKAR: Central African Republic's economic growth is expected to accelerate this year to 4.5 percent, up from around 4 percent in 2018, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Friday.
In a statement, the Fund said a peace agreement signed in February between the government and 14 armed groups "represents a unique opportunity to ... create the conditions for sustained and inclusive growth, poverty reduction and job creation".
