World mourns death of renowned physicist Stephen Hawking

The world famous scientist and physicist Stephen Hawking passed away earlier late Tuesday night, leaving everyone in a state of shock and people from across the world took to social media to express their sorrows.

Hawking passed away at the age of 76 due to motor neurone disease ALS, which he was diagnosed with at an early age of 21. Being considered the best physicist after Albert Einstein, Hawking coincidentally died on the same day Einstein was born, also the same day when 'Pi Day' is celebrated, March 14.

Many were struck hard after hearing the news of his demise. People, famous or not, took to social media to show grief and concerns for the deceased’s family.
