PCDMA, CDSIA sign MoU

The Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants' Association (PCDMA) and China Dye Stuff Industry Association (CDSIA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 'Inderdye 2012' exhibition held recently in Shangai. The MoU was signed by former chairman PCDMA Arif Balagamwala and President CDSIA Wang Zhoo on behalf of their respective organisations.
PCDMA Chairman Nasir Uddin said on Thursday that under the MoU both the organisations would play a role of facilitator for encouraging bilateral trade activities, exchange of trade delegations and participation in trade fairs and exhibitions.
Salient features of the MoU are: (i) Both parties shall establish effective consolation, co-operation and the exchange of information on bilateral trade and relationship, refer trade queries, inquiries, disputes of their members to each other for needful action and follow-up.
(ii) Both parties, with mutual understanding and contact, shall jointly organise, hold conferences, meetings, seminars, workshops and presentations for their members to strengthen bilateral trade and explore new trade opportunities, allow each other to post addresses and links on their respective websites and other publications. (ii) Both the parties will mutually cooperate in a best possible manner so that the bilateral trade can grow and flourish with required intervention and co-operation. (iv) Both the parties shall exchange information on the economy, trade, publications, trade regulations, industrialisation, economic legislation and business practices being enforced in their countries.
