Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch has expressed his deep concern over the target killings of several people in Karachi and held the coalition government of Sindh responsible for worsening law and order situation in the city. According to a press statement issued here on Thursday, he deplored that due to the government's ill policies the law of jungle prevailed in Sindh province generally and in Karachi particularly.
He recalled that Supreme Court took suo motu notice on Karachi situation but no action was taken against the responsible which as a result heightened the morale of terrorists. He also recalled that law enforcement and secret agencies and institutions responsible for national security submitted proofs with the apex court against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). "These proofs made clear that MQM was involved in extortion, land grabbing and other terrorist activities," he added.
