"Action will be taken without any discrimination against any political party whether they may belong to PPP, MQM, ANP or Sunni Tehreek," he said while responding to various queries.

To a question about desecration of the Holy Quran by an American priest, the Minister said that it was also a conspiracy against the Muslim Ummah.

He said that the government was taking all the political and religious parties into confidence on the issue and pointed out that the issue could provoke terrorism and extremism in the Muslim world.

"We urge the US government to take efforts to prevail upon measures for inter-faith harmony," he added.
