Railway employees continue strike

LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways Loco Shed Employees union's strike for demands continued on the 8th day on Sunday.

The employees did not allow any locomotive to move from the shed. They also extended the strike from two to four hours daily.

Union leader Sarfaraz Khan told the media the strike for four hours daily would continue till May 29 and a wheel-jam strike would be held if demands were not med.

The employees have been protesting for increase in technical allownce, pay scale and double wages for working holidays.
