Inflation, unemployment: PM has lost the right to rule, claims Bokhari

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should resign immediately as he has failed to fulfil commitments made with the nation. PPP leader and former chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari Tuesday said that the protest movement against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has started due to increasing inflation, unemployment and economic mismanagement.

"Prime Minister Imran Khan has lost the right to rule. The traders are on strike due to worse economic policies of the PTI government. The PTI government has handed over economy of the country to the international financial institutions," he alleged. He said that the lives of the people are in miserable condition due to increasing tariffs of electricity and gas and huge burden of taxes. He claimed that the government has made difficult for the laborers and farmers to work.

The PPP leader claimed in the statement that the time to send incompetent Prime Minister and his team packing is near. He strongly condemned the PTI government for imposing "sanctions" on media and said that the PPP would continue raising voice for the right of freedom of expression.
