Emir Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) Maulana Fazlur Rehman Wednesday linked talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government with the resignation of the Prime Minister Imran Khan. Talking to media persons here after having a meeting with the leader of Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the JUI-F chief said negotiations with the government can take place only after the Prime Minister's resignation.

Responding to a question Maulana also said that he was not aware of the government's move of forming a committee to talk with JUI-F over Azadi March, adding that he is not going to stop his movement until the fake government goes home. Answering another question, Maulana said if any undemocratic force tried to take any unconstitutional step, the direction of Azadi March will be turned against it.

Talking to media persons Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai on the occasion said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supermo Nawaz Sharif and his daughter are in illegal captivity. He added that his party will support the JUI-F Azadi March and participate in it, adding that people across the Pakistan must raise their voice against illegal and undemocratic acts of the Imran Khan-led government. His statement comes shortly after Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the government has formed a committee under the leadership of Defense Minister Pervaiz Khattak to hold talks with the JUI-F leaders.
