A local leader of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was gunned down by unknown armed men near Madni Masjid, Azizabad area in the limits of Azizabad Police Station, rescue sources said. The deceased was identified as Asif Haroon, 50, who lived in Sadiqabad. The deceased was the Vice President of PTI district central. According to the preliminary investigation, the police said, the murder was the incident of targeted killing. The body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico legal formalities.
