District Health Officer (DHO) GHotki Dr Altaf Soomro led the rally. Speaking on the occasion, the DHO appealed to religious leaders and local elected representatives to convince reluctant parents and guardians to allow the polio teams to administer vaccines to their children.
He further said that it was parents' responsibility to get their children vaccinated against polio.
