NAB can arrest anyone on suspicious grounds

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood Monday said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had the authority to arrest any person on suspicion as per observation of the Supreme Court.

Talking to a private news channel, the minister criticized Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) for blaming the institutions by gathering few people without any legal reason.

The PML-N had attacked the court in past and as they did not care about the institutions, he added.

Mariyam Aurangzeb, he said was already aware that NAB would have to go back without arresting Hamza.

The minister expressed astonishment about the earlier awareness of Mariyam regarding court decision.
